Oak barrels

Traditionally, oak barrel aging has been widely used for wine aging. Oak barrel aging results in a smoother, rounder, and more intense wine.
Remember that white wines do not keep for very long, while red wine benefits from being aged in the bottle for a long time.
A split barrel after draining the contents remains suitable for further use and will serve you for many years. But in a sawn one, after draining the wine, washing its remains is an impossible mission, as a result, mold forms from the inside, and the barrel becomes unsuitable for storage.
A barrel made of split oak serves a unique term - up to 100 years. Pre-war barrels are successfully used today, because in the old days oak was not sawn, but only split. You can renew a split barrel at your request extremely easily and quickly in 5-10 years. A sawn barrel will not serve you so long, think about what is better to choose: a cheap or a high-quality option.
A barrel made of split oak is universal and can hold any alcohol , but a sawn oak barrel can hardly hold cognac spirits, which leak through the barrel.
Aging in oak barrels using the split production method does not require a carefully controlled oxidation process. The wine does not oxidize in it, since contact with metal is excluded, but on the contrary, it acquires a characteristic, especially real bouquet of an expensive drink.
Through a natural diffusion process, drinks absorb tannins, giving them a memorable, “voluminous” taste and a soft aroma.
Since the substances contained in wood have a variety of properties, thanks to which drinks become tastier. And also, such barrels can decorate your cellar with a certain aesthetic appearance. And by the way, your house, since they also serve as a good addition to a variety of interiors.
An oak barrel from the company "Ukr-Bochka" is an ideal thing for storing alcoholic beverages and even honey. It has long been known that such a product allows some air particles to pass through, but does not allow liquid to pass through.
